As a follow up to the Diamond Cutter Sutra Retreat in 2011, Lama Marut and Cindy Lee will host a five day Heart Sutra retreat January 11-15, 2012 on the island of Bintan, near Singapore.

Cost: S$560 per person, including room, board, and ferry ticket (based on twin sharing). Single rooms start at S$695 for the retreat.

SCHEDULE
During the retreat, there will be a lot of study but also yoga, meditation and restorative practices such as yoga nidra. Lama Marut and Cindy Lee will also be joined by teachers Mary Kay Dyer and Mira Kingsley.
There will also be time to relax, sleep, contemplate alone and enjoy social time with old and new friends.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Bintan Island (Indonesia) is accessible from Singapore via a one-hour ferry ride. Visitors to Bintan Island will need to clear customs. Generally speaking, Southeast Asian national are exempted from visas. For visitors of other nationalities, most can purchase visas upon arrival for US$25, however, certain nationalities require advance purchase of visas – for detailed information, speak to your travel agent or see the Bintan Visa Information Site. Visa fees (if any) will be the sole responsibility of each retreatant. Upon clearing customs at the Bintan Ferry Terminal, the Cabana Beach Resort is accessible by a one-hour shuttle bus ride.
For those visitors staying in Singapore before or after the retreat, Singapore is a compact island nation with extensive lodging options catering to all different budgets. Hotel listings can be found at Expedia.com or TripAdvisor.com. If you are planning to attend the free talk in Singapore before the retreat, the free talk will be held in the Central Business District (CBD) of Singapore, where there are many hotels, with easy access to taxis and underground rail (MRT).
